Summer Sessions

An opportunity for kids to have fun, play and make new friends!

4 to 7 Years – 9am to 10am – Members: £4 per session – Non Members £5 per session

8 to 16 Years – 10am to 1pm – Members: £12 per session – Non Members £15 per session

American Tournament & BBQ

A great turn out at the event, with over 16 members ready to play. The sun was shining and a slight breeze contributed to fantastic weather conditions for a social tennis tournament.

With five courts in use, club Chairman Mark Hollow displayed exemplery organisational skills to get the players set-up and ready to go and with the blow of a whistle the games began.

A swift twenty minutes later and the first round was over. Scores passed over to Mark and a switch around of players on court and onto round two.

After two hours of play, and with the smell of BBQ wafting over the courts (along with the odd smoke / heat alarm being triggered in the clubhouse!) sixteen weary players handed in their final game scores and headed in for a burger / sausage / salad and a cold drink.

Congratulations go to the following players, finishing first and second in the mens / ladies respectively:
